ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I grew up in a single parent home.  I’m the second of three children and the only girl.  The
foundation of faith was laid early for me.  My mother taught us to pray early in life and every
Sunday, we were in church from morning to evening.  During social integration I went to Franklin D.
Roosevelt High School in Atlanta, Georgia.  I was on the basket ball team, drill team, majorette
squad, and was a part of the Home Coming Court in my senior year.

Upon graduating high school I went on to attend Morris Brown College and majored in
Business Administration.  I have always had a desire to do something out of the ordinary but I was
not sure exactly what it would be.  After graduating from college I married and had two sons.  Life
became my new classroom.  My personal ambitions were put on hold to support my husband and
his vision while I stayed home and raised our two boys.  Once they reached an age where they could
communicate better (I could place them in daycare and not be concerned about them being
mistreated), I decided to study to become a real estate agent.  I passed the state exam and began
    working in real estate sales.

Real estate became a great outlet for me, but the type of rigorous activity that was required
really began to take a toll on me.  I decided to look into substitute teaching as another outlet, while I
still pursued deals in property sales.  This offered me the opportunity to enhance my sales skills on
one hand while working with teenagers and young adults on another.  While I was growing on one
end, my marriage was dying on another.  All this began to happen about the time I was finalizing
the divorce, which in itself was a very traumatizing experience.

I began keeping a diary of my life’s experiences during this period and one day I had an idea to
turn my diary into a book.  My first book, I must say, has taken a lot internal desire, determination,
and discipline to complete.  To do something you've never done before without any informal or
formal training can be very taxing on the mind and body.  It all proved to be worth it as "Go to Hell
Satan" was published in August 2006.  Of course life continues to offer new experiences and so this
book continues to evolve.  I have some new additions to the book that are soon to come in an
    updated publication in 2010.

God has been so good to me and it is my prayer that you are inspired and motivated to
continue to pursue life in the midst of  adversity and circumstances.  I am living proof that to
overcome and sit on the other side of a trial is sweet.  You get a chance to really see what's in you
and also you get an opportunity to develop in Christ.

As you read "Go To Hell Satan," be encouraged and know that the ability to overcome is a God-
given gift that you already possess.  Is there anything to hard for God?  NO!!!  So the next time the
devil tries to get in your face with your mess-ups, you plead the blood of Jesus, declare your
redemption and say to him, "Go to Hell Satan!!!"
